Dr. Michel Vautour received his Health Science Degree from the University of Moncton in 1991 and graduated from the School of Optometry, University of Waterloo in 1995. While attending the University of Waterloo, he completed externships at the Houston Eye Associates in Houston, Texas, and at the Rookwood Professional Clinic in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Dr. Vautour joined the practice in 1995.
Dr. Vautour enjoys all aspects of primary optometric care, and has an interest in ocular health, contact lens therapy, and refractive surgery. He is pleased to serve his patients in both official languages.
Dr. Vautour is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, the Ottawa Society of Optometrists (President, 1999 and 2000), the Ontario Association of Optometrists, as well as the Canadian Association of Optometrists. He currently serves as a member of the Canadian Standards Examiners of Optometry where he participates in the examination of new optometrists.
Dr. Céline Pomainville
Dr. Céline Pomainville completed the baccalaureate 120 credits in general science at the University of Montreal in 2007. She was then accepted into the doctorate of optometry program at the University of Montreal and graduated in June 2012. While conducting her doctorate, she successfully completed an externship at the Fier Eye Care Center in Stuart, Florida, and another at the Institut de l’oeil des Laurentides in Boisbriand, Québec.
Dr Pomainville enjoys all aspects of primary optometric care and has interests in both ocular health and eye emergencies, as well as in contact lenses and pediatric care. She also serves her patients in both official languages.
Dr Pomainville is a member of both, the College of Optometrists of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Optometrists and of the Canadian Association of Optometrists.
Dr. Valérie Savoie
Dr. Valérie Savoie grew up in Orleans and has been working in the Ottawa area since her graduation from the University of Montréal in 2014. During her studies, she participated in a humanitarian mission in Ecuador, as well as underwent training at the Providence VA Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Savoie is interested in all aspects of the optometric care, in particular paediatric optometry, ocular health and ocular emergencies. She is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.
